On freedom of the press in Central Europe with Jamie Wiseman (IPI)

Jamie Wiseman is the Advocacy Officer focusing on Europe at the International Press Institute (IPI), a global network of editors, media executives and leading journalists based in Vienna. As part of the press freedom team, he researches, monitors and covers violations, assists with advocacy and campaigns and helps coordinate media freedom missions.

In this video we talk about the state of the media freedom in Central Europe, focusing on the situations in Hungary, Poland and Slovenia, nature of the attacks on media organizations and discuss what can be done to reverse the negative trends.

The conversation is moderated by Nataša Briški and Aljaž Pengov Bitenc.
